  This purchase was undeniably the bargain of this or any other year. Like other reviewers, I was looking for a version of the Fields of Athenry. This has to be the definitive version. Mind you, the whole album is brilliant; how could it fail to be with such a clear, powerful, pitch-perfect voice singing with true feeling? The only mystery is how/why many lesser talents are thrust in my face constantly when I had to come across this gem almost by accident......
I am enthralled. What a crystal-clear voice she has that changes from romantic/sentimental to militant with the same clarity. Tell Jill that she has yet another fan. ..I treat myself to a daily 7-songs listen.
